AUSTIN, TX - September 14, 2026 – The Texas Forward Party is proud to announce its official candidate endorsement of Neha Shah, who is running as a non-partisan candidate for Austin City Council District 3.

Shah, a 10-year Austin resident, naturalized U.S. citizen, and 12-year technology product manager and entrepreneur, brings a strong background in software building, technology policy, and voting rights advocacy to the District 3 race. Her community service includes serving as a Travis County Volunteer Deputy Registrar, election worker, and active contributions to with Women in technology and South Asian civic organizations.

Running on a practical, community-first platform, Shah is dedicated to bringing data-driven accountability and civic access to City Hall. Her platform focuses on municipal budget transparency, robust support for local small businesses and creative arts, holistic affordability through investments in transit and climate solutions, and defending inclusive voting access for all residents. Shah has voluntarily committed to Austin's Fair Campaign Finance Ordinance limits and is dedicated to open-data municipal governance.
